Fees & Billing

Unless expressly stated otherwise, all flat fees charged by MM&I Law are advance fees under California law and will be deposited into the MM&I Law’s client trust account. Fees are earned as legal services are performed and will be withdrawn from the trust account in accordance with the milestones described in the agreement.


Unless expressly stated otherwise, any portion of the advance fee not earned at the conclusion of the representation will be refunded to Client. Check out our insights on fees to better understand the differences between flat fees and retainers.
